Here is a listing of hoedown (traditional) square, round and line dance opportunities I provided to members of the Square, Round and Line Dancing in Ohio group on Facebook. Check back since sometimes I learn about dances after this is first posted. I am supplementing this community on my web site to accomodate people not on Facebook. June 7, 7:00-10:00 PM - Friend of Forked Run Square Dance. The Friends of Forked Run present an evening of square dancing, line dancing and more. Enjoy the music of the Dancehall Desperados with caller Paul Strahler. All ages and experience levels are welcome. 50/50, cakewalk, food and more. Campsites also available. Please bring a chair. June 17, 8:00-10:00 PM - Northside Tavern Squares - Celebrate Northside Square Dance's two years of dancing in place (well, in the same place) when "T" Tee Claw returns to Cincinnati to call another wild and crazy square dance. This is not your grammaw's prehistoric square dance! Introduce your friends to the "backroom activity" at Northside Tavern. "T" is traveling from Colorado with the Fiddle Pie band, featuring "T" and Billie Burdock with Carolyn Rust Camp (Pick and Holler Band, Phoenix AZ) on fiddle and Grace Rolland (Run Boy Run Band, Phoenix AZ) sharing calling duties with "T."
